SAMS stands for Student Academic Management System. It is a unified platform for admission into higher education institutions in Odisha, implemented by the Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha.
How do I apply for admission through SAMS?
To apply for admission, visit the SAMS website and click on "Apply for Admission" or "Student Login". Create an account, fill in your details, select your preferred colleges and courses, submit your application, and pay the application fee.
Can I apply for multiple courses and colleges?
Yes, one of the advantages of SAMS is that you can apply for multiple courses and colleges with a single application form. You can select up to 20 college-course combinations based on your preference.
How will I know if I'm selected for admission?
After the application period ends, SAMS will publish merit lists on the website. You can check your status by logging into your account. If selected, you'll receive instructions about the admission process.
How can I pay the application and admission fees?
SAMS offers multiple payment options including online payment through debit/credit cards, net banking, and UPI. You can also pay through designated banks or Common Service Centers (CSCs).
What scholarships are available through SAMS?
